When you send a message to your friend it first verified by the server and then forwarded to the desired address. But, have you ever come across a situation when you send a message but find ‘Failed message due to un-verified server identity’ from SBC end? If yes, then we are going to fix this problem on your iPhone.
- Restart your phone: The phone which you are using needs restart after a certain interval of time in order to get refreshed. If you are getting ‘iPhone not verifying server settings’ message on the screen, then this will definitely fix the problem.
To restart your iPhone, long press the power button for 5 seconds until you find the options on the screen, click on switch off to turn it off. Wait for 10 seconds, then restart it. You will find an apple logo on the screen which means the device is successfully restarted.
- Close the mail app and re-open it: To force close the app, you need to perform some steps from the phone itself. It will solve technical glitches if any with your email app.
To close the email app, long press on its icon from home screen and swipe to force close it.
- Delete your account and re-add it: When you delete the email account from the phone, all the data related to it will get deleted and you have to enter the details again from scratch. This will clear bugs if any in your existing data.
To delete the account from the phone, go to ‘Settings’ then to ‘Account and password’. From here, select the account with which you are getting the problem. Select ‘Delete’ from the bottom of the screen and if prompted click ‘Yes’ to continue.
Now, enter the complete information again through settings and go through the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Enter ‘Email address’ and password of your email account.
- Reset all settings: When you reset your phone, all the data will be deleted from the phone and software issues will get resolved. You can easily track the problem within the email app by resetting the settings.
To reset the settings, you need to over to ‘Settings’ then on ‘General’. From here, go to ‘Reset all settings’ to clear all data from the phone. You must keep the records of data at some place before performing the reset function.
You need to enter the passkey or code for resetting the phone. This option is enabled in order to protect your data from being deleted by the third person.
You can now start receiving the mail on your email account and forward the same to other email address.
